I want a system that is 70% SQ and 30 % SPL. These will be in sealed boxes. I will run 1 Rockford Fosgate bD 1000.1 per sub. Locally I can get these 12's:

2 Diamond TDX Dual 4s - $750

2 Kicker L7 Dual 4's - $575

2 MTX 9500 Dual 4's - $900

OR

Is there a way to hook up 2 Adire Brahmas to my amps with a 2 ohm load to each? This would be my choice, but I don't know if it is possible to wire it this way. Thanks.

You can connect subs with wires in different ways and that can change the ohms (resistance) the amplifier sees. Too low of a load (closer to 0)...

The way you had them before does not really pose a danger. On the contrary, they presented a higher Ohm load to the amp so the amp put out less...
