Pretty much decided on a RE SE sub...just need to know which one to get

^****it to holy hell!!!!!! Now I'm a little pissed.... The only thing that helps a little is that with shipping, that would of been $121.36. Still a little cheaper but nothing too crazy. Boris, I just basically selected one off of this ebay page for $154.00...

Pretty much decided on a RE SE sub...just need to know which one to get

Boom, SE12" ordered. Final price was $138.60, not too bad. So it looks like I'll just have someone build it locally. Does anyone know a ballpark figure I should be looking to pay for a ported box, given the parameters of this particular sub? Thanks again everyone for the great help!

Pretty much decided on a RE SE sub...just need to know which one to get

Well I measured my trunk area before and I thought I couldn't mange a ported 12". Now when I look at it, I might. Granted, I don't want to devote my entire trunk to the sub but I think it could be done. I dug up some measurements I took when I measured my trunk area and the max I could do is a...

Pretty much decided on a RE SE sub...just need to know which one to get

Hey guys. After some heavy research, I'm just about sold on the SE series. Now the question that I cannot for the life of my figure out is if I want to go with a ported 10", or a sealed 12". Normally I'd lean towards porting it as I've heard it's not just for "heavy bass" but I hear the SE...

    880PRS aux question

So I'm guessing to use the front AUX, the front plate has to be open? That *****, I was hoping I could see the lights and ish from the HU. Oh well, can't have it all. And FWIW, here's the 2.5mm male 3.5mm female connector I got. $0.95 shipped: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2648

    880PRS aux question

$10 you say? Would you happen to know a part number or a link to one? And yeah, the manual says the 2.5mm plug in the front is AUX 1. I did see a 3.5mm plug in the back, but I believe that's for a wired remote or something. However, the unit is placed all the way in, so I could just plug an aux...

Few questions while I'm doing my first audio install

LOL, that would make a lot of sense. Why didn't I think about that, haha. I guess I tend to make things seem much harder than what they appear, haha. Ok so I have the settings down, now about the amp. To add with the HI OFF confusion, I also have another question about it. On the amp itself, I...

Few questions while I'm doing my first audio install

Bump...anybody? I've heard 80hz-2.5khz is a good place to start with for the Mach 5's but I'm clueless on what I should start the tweets at and I'm still stuck on the amp HI and OFF settings. Thanks!

Few questions while I'm doing my first audio install

Hey guys, you may remember me from previous threads. Well I'm finally installing everything I've purchased (check the sig). I already installed the RAAMat on the doors and floor and now I'm running the wire before I put the carpet and the interior pieces back on. I just had a few questions that...

    RAAMat BXT question....

Holy ****! I just put the above strip in the freezer and in only like half a minute, I can completely peel it off! Sweet! Now I just gotta find a way to stick the entire roll in there, haha. Or at least a bunch of small strips. Thanks again for cold recommendation guys!

    RAAMat BXT question....

^Hmmm....interesting. If it doesn't loosen up after the end of the day, I'll have to try that. Thanks fellas! I don't think I am, lol. When I read your reply I was like holy crap....don't tell me I missed something obvious, ha. But when I went out and tried again I met the same results. Here's...

    RAAMat BXT question....

My interior is already stripped and am trying to apply some RAAMat to the doors and floor but I have a problem. I've been trying to peel the back layering off the sound deadener but it's still very much stuck to the back of it. All I heard that was required to apply sound deadener was pretty...
