How do I fuse them though? Do I do 100 amps on both wires or 50 on each?

Hi. I have a PPI DCX 1000.1. It has dual inputs for power and ground (2 from battery, 2 grounds). The fuse rating of the amp is 100 amps. I want to do this fuse inline but was unsure of how to do it. I am going to be running both power wires to the back from the battery. Thanks.

I will when I get a chance, most likely tonight or tomorrow. And auto zone tested my battery with my alt. which I left out above. It passed all tests.

Hey everyone. Recently I changed my ground to clean up wires and built a new box. With the new setup my electrical seems to be in HORRIBLE shape. My lights used to dim, and the bass would hit hard. This setup was run at 1 ohm, pulling about 1500 rms. Now, my lights and even amp lights (Hifonics)...

Well it's just that my grandpa works at the power plant and he brought me some of this 4 gauge welding. So I'll take it for free haha

Alright , sounds good. I can probably get it done this weekend. Ive seen some alt to batt lines fused and some not. Im gonna do that as I want to be safe, but what amperage should I fuse it at?

Can 4 gauge welding wire be used on big 3? Its what i have available at the moment. And should I just take a digital MM and connect it to my batt when playing like full tilt?
