I would get a JL 8w1 or 8w7. ID is over rated for me( I have used there ID max 10" ) and then used an Alpine swx-1043d (type-x) and is better, but thats but me. Ran 2 JL 8w1 for years, and other JL's (w6,w3,w7). I just don't like any speaker with a foam surround, they deteriorate after a while...
