Hello car audio enthusiasts. Newbie here. My problem is my stereo quit playing my Ipod. When I plug it into the head unit it charges but sticks on searching mode. It was working fine and I tried changing to different artists on the Ipod and when i plugged Ipod back in it just stuck on searching although the battery indicator on Ipod still indicates it is charging.

Anyone out there familiar with this head unit or experienced this problem??? I'm thinking maybe my Ipod cable needs replacing.

I'm hoping to find someone who might be able to repair this head unit. The faceplate doesn't slide out at all.

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...
