i have a 2003 mazda six and i didnt like the factory speakers, that and one was blown, so i got the new alpine type r 6.5 components. I hooked everything up (with out the crossover) and i hear a loud popping sound that comes from the new tweeters. i asked my friend and he said you need to hook up the crossover and put it to like -3. Problem is its the factory head unit and i have no amp. he said it can be done but doesn't no how.

Can anyone please help me on how to wire the crossover. thanks
