Amp Choices.

Hi Guys I'm looking for an amp that will power 2 alpine sws-10d4's at 4 ohms there's so many amps to choose from idk whats good and whats not. I'm not trying to spend more than 400$ any options that you can give me would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Idk if they are new or old. There type s 500w rms each no upgrade in electrical in my truck but if I have to I will Upgrade the battery

look for at least 1000rms , mono amp.

are you already wired to 4ohms ???

you can wire them to 1 ohm. you will get more power from amp.

What is the rms at 4 ohms it didn't mention it from what I saw

I'm wiring them up to 4 ohms my local shop told me I'd get better sound quality a 4 rather than 1

no...

you just get less power at 4 the 1 .

if you run at 4ohms you need a big amp . as you woul dneed an amp to put out around 1000 rms at 4ohms.

wire to 1 ohm.

Ok but I'd still need 1000rms at 1 ohm for the subs right. Also would 1 ohm be harder on my electrical system or no
