Amp goes into protection mode after turning radio up🤦🏽‍♂️

So I’m having a issue with my amp going into protection mode after turning the radio up, it’s a stock bmw radio and the positive and ground are 11.90 when cars off and 13.60 when car is on, I switched amp snd still did the same thing... don’t know what else to check. Do if anyone can Help me out on what test to do or where to check..
