Looked into taramp and the pvr . From what i understand small footprint high output amps have very high voltage out put rails . Amps like matts earthquake phd2 and the Brazilian amps. Is this a risk of smoke show or other problems . I guessing it increases thd . But for subs herd it will not be audible

dont put the taramps on your box or on a surface that gets a lot of vibration, dont let it go below 11v, dont wire it below 1 ohm and itll be a-ok

Ive ran them on my mids and subs. Never noticed any added distortion. Just don't run them under the rated ohm load, really low voltage with clipping, and keep away from a ton of vibration and your good.

If you can find an Orion XTR2500HD, they tested really well with BIG D, but they seem to be unicorns right now... I have no idea why no one has mentioned the Brazilian amps.. If you can keep the voltage up you can get Taramps, PRV, Stetsom 3500's for around $350.

The orion seems to be awsome . Spoted new on ebay for me to purchase is 600.00 including shiping . This is canadian dollers. Other thoughts if i pull triger on more expensive gear is twisted sounds or snyergy

Well here is my thoughts get the taramps hd 3000.2 . Then will have back up with my earthquake phd2. Found the tamps for 365.00 canadian free delivery go figure and it ships from brizil. Looking to power 2 American Bass xfl12. Are they efficient do they need 1000rms to be effective. If they do not need ratted power . The earthquake phd2 that i own will be the smatest choice . It like the new Brazilian amps high voltage rails and higher thd. No biggie from what i been learning. Then the money saved can to subs. Whats your guys thoughts on the orion xtr 2500 instead. Price on orion with ride is 636.00 canadian. Synergy twisted sounds 2.8k are out of question 731.00 plus ride ssa store

unless theres areson others come up with that taramps sound like best deal for u anyway.. audiobahn here has had many ab subs he said he's seen xfls and tnt's do well even on 500rms., 750 each or more would be good..

If Brazil is willing to ship you their amps so cheap it's probably totally worth it. Rumor has it they're unreliable but I've had good luck with them and honestly I'd trust a Brazilian 3K for 360$ far more than any Chinese one you'll find new at that price point.

Also AFAIK it's higher than rated voltage (and of course low impedance) that is the big killer on them.
