ive decided that im going to have 2 image dynamics id8v.3s in my back deck ported. I will have the subs exposed from the inside (like a normal rear fill speaker in the deck) and the box is going to extend down into the trunk. My question is should I have the port on the same surface as the subs or firing down into the trunk? The box will be a 1.8 cubic foot ported to 30 hz i think. let me know what the difference will be if any

Never seen this done before Id have to say, but what I think I would try first is the port thru the rear deck, and the subs facing into the trunk...

Dunno... You never REALLY know with the new designs till you try.
