The Team 1K woofer features More than you would ever expect from a woofer at this price point. C2 Audio has addressed every single part that can fail under High Temps from extended High Power use and than over built them. This woofer uses A High Wound (50 mm) 4 layer 3" High Temp Ultra lite weight CCA Voice Coil, Large Double Stacked Magnets , Dual High Current Flat Woven Tinsel Leads per terminal, Bolt Down Spider Pack using Four 7.25" Black Nomex Spiders, Dual Vented Back Plate to assist in fast High Temp cooling, Dual Stitched surround and Lots of X-Max!
High temp Thermal Meltdown with Magnet shifting is a thing of the Past with the Team 1K. This woofer use a Bolt down motor system in addition to our extended temp glue. The bolts run through the entire motor to attach the Basket, Top Plate, Magnet and back plate as 1 part. Sure this takes time cost more to build.... But the Team 1K is designed using the highest grade parts possible to ensure your woofer last under extreme conditions.
