what do you mean? if there is a seatbelt you can hook a carseat up to it. In my RSX there is no middle seat, just some plastic thing to keep people off of sitting there (its due to the weight limit of the car, cant put three peeps back there I guess). So I put my daughter on the pass side forward facing...

my wife's car has the tether... i'm curious of there is a tether hook anywhere in the hatch area of my car, now that you have me thinking about it...

I drive a 97 golf and I think you mean those spots to attatch seat belts around on the car its self somewhere. I never seen them. All we have is the seats, seatbelts and buckles. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

My nephews seat has little hooks near where his hands would rest that we just use to put the seatbelt through. Then put the driver or passanger seat all the way back to told the car seat more sequre.

i've been hearing that its the law in Manitoba. Using just the seat belt is not good enough.

I'm just hoping it'll be a big hassle, so i can convince the woman to get a different vehicle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

how can they mandate something if your car didn't come with the equipment? must be canadians //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

sorry, i worded that wrong. i bought it from the US. It's all in miles and junk.

But i know what you mean, thats why im thinking theres something i can just install and have it be all good.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
