I don't think you can just dismiss a 6+ month lapse by saying "we were short-handed". I've got extensive experience in logistics and distribution, and have never let any lapse go unanswered or resolved. To me, that seems like a company who isn't willing to own up to their mistakes. 6 months, with no contact, updates, or follow-through? If you got in over your heads, maybe felt too embarrassed to say you couldn't deliver as promised, say it. Not doing that seems shady, and until I see some transparency, I'll never take GP seriously, not that it probably matters. Just my honest 2 cents on rebuilding trust.
