help with 4th order for 16 12's

roughly 16 sealed and a bit over 16 ported tuned to 44ish. i bought the subs before i planned the build lol so i kind of lost out on doing an optimal enclosure trying to cram woofrz in.

wiring somewhat cleaned up.

was hard to see anything inside the box with the crappy walmart led's so i bought some new ones. stays turned off while i'm driving. it's sideways so just tilt your head to the left

new fatty port. 31.5x10. 7 length. should be tuned around 47

removable inside the car this time, big enough squeeze through.

going to wall at the b pillar instead of the window, hopefully do a better job this time. also going switch the the 6.5s out for 4 6x9s and 4 3.5" bullet tweeters.

and by the way good numbers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so how do you like the 6.5's? i mean for the price they are hard to beat. IMO

thanks! lol, yea i kinda figured that out after. was my first time burping so i was kind of nervous about going for too long. gonna reset gains a bit higher and abuse the **** out of it next time i can get metered. replacing a blown sub or two shouldn't be too bad if i do eff some up considering they're like 60 dollars each >//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

these things are rated 300 rms each, doing pretty well considering what i'm putting them through, lots of chopped and screwed/mid 20 hz peak songs, all at full tilt.

6.5s are awesome, i'm playing around with some other mids and highs just for comparison though. being cheap is great, 60 dollar subs, 5 dollar mids/highs lmao.

neighbor got annoyed with me earlier today cuz he could hear the bass while i was testing in my closed garage, 200+ feet away in his house :/

trying out some different mid/highs.

it's all sealed up now, bit of expanding foam, industrial strength duct tape and lots of silicone. gonna go ahead and not post pics of it cuz it's so **** ugly, but it's working.

hairtrick. need to bring my camera with me more often and record more videos.

just ordered a crescendo 4 channel, gonna see what i can do with these doors.

good eye man lol. that sub got it's spider effed up from when i had the clamshell. it's been replaced //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it's getting there. final finish will be a multi-colored textured paint because i think it looks awesomely sexy.

the end is sort of in sight! local walmart is out of y splitters and the paint i used(gonna paint the mounting circle things for the components) so i'm gonna make a trip here soon to pick some up. just waiting for the paint to dry before i attach the doors. and now for some pics :drinks:

i know i posted pics of the speakers earlier but i'ma post some more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

drove to the next town over and bought the y connectors and paint, got everything hooked up and it sounds greattttttttt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D

i'm in a very good mood //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D:D i know it's not the most amazing work by any means but i'm extremely proud of it. and happy how my first glassing experience went! i think it's much cleaner work than the usual slop garb that i do. now my mids/highs can actually keep up with the subs.

still need to wipe dust off everything. ended up putting a couple layers of clear glossy stuff over it. couple pics of how it turned out!! lighting's kind of bad.

181963_1681668559806_1180320105_31539102_8218308_n.jpg

had to cut out a big chunk of plastic to get these things to mount in the factory location

after this experience i feel that i can do a much better job the next time i glass and would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try. also kinda makes me wanna redo my box/wall and glass the whole thing lol..but that's not gonna happen until a rebuild happens in the far far away future.

woohoooo!!!!!!

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...
