Go to the BBB and pull any record of past bad work. Take pictures of the improper settings on your amp and go so far as to test the voltage on the amp...

I would bring it to another competeing car audio shop. Have them give you a very detailed estimate on whats wrong, and what it costs to fix it and also what caused the malfunctions- it will be obvious to them the installer was wrong. Bring that to the **** up shop and tell them they can either fix your **** for free or give you the amount of the estimate.

If they refuse go to the Better Business Bureau and file that stuff first, then ask them how to go about getting your money back. In certain cases, they will call and get you your money without any litigation. Other times, they will provide you with a lawyer working pro-bono (sp?) through another agency to help you file a claim and take the place to court.

The sooner you do this the better.

i called him back... he hung up on me... i told him that i'm not stupid and that i know what gain is... and he's just like "i think it has more to do with the volume knob up front, you know that's real easy to turn up" then i asked why all my EQ setting changed then and he was just like "the knob would've been real easy to turn up" i was like you said you would adjust the gain and he was like i didn't have time... i had to do a rush job and i was like ur suppossed to be a professional it's ur fault for rushing...

but i still don't know how this will stand in court, i don't have the resources or know how to check voltage and stuff (that's why i had it professionally done)
