How much Dynamat would a typical 4 door midsize car need?

Hi,

Was just wondering how much Dynamat should I buy for my 4 door mid size car?

There are speakers in all 4 doors and the rear deck, along with 2 subs in the trunk.

2-4 bulk packs depending on how in depth you get. 2 packs is good for most, 3 if the car is a little bigger than most, or you start cramming crevices. 4 if you layer up the doors. If you're not planning on pulling the interior, then get 2 bulk packs and layer up the door and deck lid, and cover everything in the trunk. There are other methods that are a lot cheaper and more effective than dynamat if you want everything seriously deadened. Spray foam, 8 ga in your trunk seal, blocks in the larger gaps, etc.

Or just stop being a ***** about it, and start mixing up some concrete. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

spray foam serves no sound deadening purpose other than putting something between the noise and your ear

he just did...

edit:

and spray foam itself doesn't deaden anything, but it'll [help] stop rattling, and loose panels
