I know you build boxes so I was wondering what would be better? A box that is sealed with less cubic footage than recommended and 2 12s or a properly spaced box with the recommended cubic footage(possibly a bit more) as well as tuned and 2 10s?I can help you get lots of bass out of your woofers

Oh okay thank you so much for info I appreciate it. I’ve been building sealed boxes now and I’ve been wanting to try building a ported box. So if it doesn’t work out you’ll hear from me. I also don’t want that to sound like I’m coming off rude. Thank you again! But it all depends on your ears. Sealed boxes just can't reproduce lows, like 35 or 30 hz and under like a ported box can. Sealed boxes have to usually be bigger than they need to be to resonate that low. Then you lose mechanical power handling, etc, ported just works every time because you can force the situation.
If it is even possible also 2 10" ported will work as well as there is some 10" out there that don't take up a lot of space or depth and yet still hit good otherwise 2 8" or if possible at best 3 8". Minimum SFB 1K or a SFB 1.5K depending on the RMS of course.
I had a '92 S-10 with 2 MTX Blue Thunders in separate Truck boxes the ones they used from factory with the port built in. I had so much room behind my seat even with those I still had full leg room. But times have changed since then for the amount of room they give you I think in a single cab. Damn I miss that little S-10 2WD with the Vortec 4.3 man could that thing scoot especially with the headers, exhaust, cam upgrade and intake/injector upgrades, lol.
Idk best bet is to take pictures, measure it all out exactly and send it all to buck and see what magic he can do with it.
Bro you were right I really was surprised by 2 8s literally the set up you mentioned earlier is in this video. He had two and it was making her hair move yours must make hair dance! by the way would I be able to run it with everything stock and 4 gauge?I've got mega room in my Dodge standard cab. Over 5 cubes with the seat all the way back, but Chevy's are a different animal though. The best that I've heard is 4- 6-½'s ported in a Chevy Standard cab.
