In-Dash Monitor

I'm looking into maybe getting an indash monitor. I want to be able to watch DVDs but is it possible to have my Pioneer 8600 and an indash but hooked up and running. I'd like to have the controls on my 8600. You know what I mean. I think I may have a double din opening in my Explorer. The main problem also is I don't want to spend a crap load of money. Maybe like 700 at the most. Can I find a decent Indash with DVD player for that much?

Does your pioneer 8600 have an aux rca audio input? You will need that to hear the dvd audio.

If you have a dual din hole you can mount 2 single din units in it...

your opening may only be 1.5 din tho...

Where can I find out if I have a double din or a 1.5 din? On my 8600 I have three outputs... I'm not sure about the inputs.
