hi

ive heard different stories concerning amps mounted on sub boxs.

some say its fine while other say vibrating the heck out of it may damge internal parts. im not sure which is accurate??

what if you were to bolt down your amp on a rectangular piece of MDF, then uses rubber grommet type pieces in between the amp board and box itself?

mine is screwed directly into the back of the box. That's because the kid I installed it with wanted to screw it on the box though since we didn't wanna build an amp rack

i got my orion 2500d mounted on the back of my box, i have my soundstream rubicon 1000 and orion 800.2 mounted on the top, along with my memphis 500 mounted on the side... haven't had any problems yet
