so after a few months of not having tunes (brutal), i finally got a new amp... sundown 125.2 for my rainbow slc 265s... installed it on the back of the rear fold down seats in my mustang... just wanted to share a few pics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

and here is how to make a proper ground

scraped away the factory sound deadener, grinded down the metal, and sunk 3 big ass screws into a copper lug... ***** better not come loose

Looks like a solid setup. Out of interest, what are the wooden planks for?
the backseats fold down individually, and the amp is too big to mount on one of them so i had to mount it in the middle.. the mdf pieces are just to keep the seats linked together... i know they look ugly and i should have painted them or carpeted them but tbh im probably never gonna open it again an no one will see it

dont think you need to worry about the ground popping off... lol

how much you pay for the amp? im looking for an amp to power a comp. set.. is that one good?

It looks like it would fit on one of those seats. I dont like the idea of when you fold down one seat you have to fold down the other, but its not my car anyways. Other than that its a great amp and component set you have there!

yeah it would hit the side when the seat is folded up if it was just on one of them... i dont really like the idea either, but like i said i really dont plan on ever folding the seats down

how much did you pay for your comp set?
gosh i really dont even remember, had them for 3 years and i do love them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/inlove.gif.6846f78f06b405429ef3a00129788a2a.gif
