Loudest Spl Small Space

Ok I am working with a small trunk, well I could build a custom box inside the car but would cost too much, my last system was a L5 15" solobaric kicker with 2.4cbft after displacement, ported box. I want a sub ALOT LOUDER SPL WISE, I dont really care awhole lot about SQ, mostly SPL but of course I want some - decent SQ, but mostly SPL, that will perform really good with a JBL1200.1 in the limited space I got, which is about 2.4cbft which I had before with the L5 after displacement.

try an IDMAX

or Soundstream Tarantula 12 or 15"

the 12 needs 2 cubic feet ported...15 needs 4 cubes ported.

I know you all will kick my ass, but try some W3's. You can put them in nearly any box, and I had mine in one that was nearly 3.5 cubes still sounding awesome.

Just a suggestion.

not an idmax for SPL...more sq oriented.

try and RE xxx.....can be had for around 320 shipped for 1 15.

I know that these are about 50/50 on SQ/SPL but I would have to say IDMax, and Brahma..Either one will easily go into a 2.4cubic foot enclosure and both will make you happy..put that little L5 to shame with that power.

an xxx would be cheaper than both....its like 60/40 spl.

Well Doesnt the RE XXX need a bigass ported box? Remember yall I am only working with about a total of 2.4CBFT (after displacement with an L5 15" solobaric)

BTW Price Im looking for around/under 300 bucks

you MIGHT be able to get away with an xxx in a sealed that big...but if you go ported youre going to need a lot bigger box.

how many watts is it gonna be getting?

well, not particularly. Ks definitely do. not really brahmas, but it really depends on how much power you give them.

I was thinking about the ED15A Possibly to fulfill my needs but I read alot that its leaned toward a smaller sealed box,

I need something that will be badass mostly SPL that is even more badass/recommended for ported enclosure and feeding it about 1200W RMS (jbl1200.1)
