i have 2 rf power hx2-10's in a ported box and i need an amp since my old rf amp keeps blowing fuses. would like to run the rms rating on the subs and stay under $500 if possible
Do you want to stay with Fosgate equipment? If you do and would also like an O/S amp; looking into the Power 500.2, 1000a2, & 1100a2 on ebay or other car audio classifieds. Those 3 amps I mentioned are monsters.
ok almost have a choice made, its between a audiopipe 15001d for $150 or jbl gto 1200.1 for $250? id like to go with a rockford fosgate amp but i cant find any in my price range and the money would be better spent on upgrading my wiring and alternator etc.
on second thought i could still fit an audiopipe ap3000.1 into my budget and upgrade wiring.. so i guess its between 3 amps now lol
I have an old school BD1000.1 it will do about 1300rms into 1 ohm...it works perfect for $250 shipped....It would be perfect for your subs...a very nice amp
I know most people are not fond of Audiobahn amps...But I have some really brute Baddass amps in the classifieds for 250.00,and i will wave the shipping??HCT 4x125,and the 18001.Will push just about whatever you want..???Up for grabbs..Thanks
so probably a newbie question but all of these amps (between 4 now) are all rated at XXXwatts X1 @ 1 or 2 ohms... now im almost positive i can run my subs at 1 ohm my question is the "X1" part.. does that mean into 1 sub? if so should i be dividing that in half because i have 2 subs or will that rms wattage be going to each sub?
that means into 1 channel. and yes in half because of 2 subs. my jbl is a nice korean made amp i believe and is better quality then the new audiopipe by a long shot. this amp has nice sq a high damping factor and is underatted. it is 1200 rated and does about 1500 rms. PM me and lets get you a nice new amp man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
