New Install!! PICS!!

so me and vestax just finished up my install. i'm so happy how its turned out. here's the break down of the equipment:

HU/Processor: W200/H701

Amplifiers: Alpine PDX 4.150/4.100

Midbass: Rainbow Profi Vandium Kickbass

Midrange: Seas Lotus Reference RM110

Tweeters: Rainbow CAL26 Titan

Sub: 12" IDmaxv3d2

Looks nice and clean.

However,

1. I would have brought the amps flush with the fake wall

2. Chose a darker color blue to for the trim.

But thats just my taste.

great equipment there. everything looks nice, but i just think the blue stands out a bit too much. other than that, great work.

Since you already have the enclosure sticking out, the sub is facing backwards which makes it look that way.. I think it would look better if you invert the sub back into normal position..

yea my install will not please everyone. i did mount the sub normally and that was the plan from the start, but it was so late at night, we were lazy so we just inverted the sub (for a meet). i might redo the sub box to make it flush with amps. thats when i have time though. we did a multilayer install because i like how clean the suede/vinyl look together.

i chose the blue because it matched the alpine pdx amps. next time i might either go with classy gray to match my car better.

the box is about 1.5 cft.

how does it sound? overall pretty good but it needs a bit more tuning. the image isn't as focused as i'd like and i have a problem in the lower midrange area. but hey i have my image centered on the dash, so can't really complain.

yes the h701 supports 4 way. i'll have pics of the w200 in a bit.
