3. Description/Condition:

Cosmetic:

i would rate the amp 8/10. Minor face scratches, but scratches on the mounting feet, and underbelly of the amp.

Mechanically:

the amp does turn on, however somewhere on the signal processing side of the amp, there is a broken solder connection (see pics). There are no burnt components on this amp. I just do not have the knowledge to fix this amp my self, nor do i have the time to send that amp to DBr.

4. Price: :

I see these go used in working order for around 1700 shipped.... since mine doesnt work, i will price mine under the assumption that it would need a new board (i guess $600 for all repairs and shipping, shouldn't even be close to that)

that puts me at $1100 for the amp, however, i will also take $150 off due to the new owner having to either repair the amp, or sending it in to get fixed.

So i will sale the amp at $950 shipped... OBO

any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to send me a text (712) 660-0703. I will answer back as soon as i can.

Problem areas on the board

20120901_151915.jpg

the capacitor there is loose and may not be making contact with the board.

This piece has completely separated its self from the board. I was able to re-align everything and applied pressure to the top of it to place it back on the board. we then tried turning it back on and still no signal made it out of the amp. everything else on the board looks correct.

once again, any question, please do not hesitate to ask. if you would not like to text me, you may either PM me here, or use my email, mschramm@iastate.edu. this email is synced with my phone so a reply should be quick.

Figured it out. For some reason my rca cables would work in everything but the new head unit. I quickly tried a spare set, and that fixed the problem.
