Okay so I'm pretty sure this is a part of my problem may not be all though. Got everything installed yesterday by the guy who built my box and I later noticed that the ground wire from amp isn't exactly ideal. Nothing grinded down to bare metal on a pretty heavily painted area, it is bolted down, but I'm likely to move that on one of these days it isn't storming or 100 degrees(could be a while). Regardless I'm slightly concerned because my amp runs hot after a trip to town and back(like 20 min drive), subs also get a little warm and I am seeing voltage drops from 14 down to 11.6 at the lowest voltage is from my stock HU. Would a faulty ground cause these problems. Don't have a Big 3 done yet but that is in the near future here and I know that will help voltage issue some. I have a stock 130a alt, with a duralast 650 cca under the hood and 0 ga power/ground wires. If I left out anything you may need to know just ask also amp is a SAE 1200D any help is appreciated guys thank you

thats a pretty drastic drop, sand the paint off ,and reattach also do the big 3 .then go from there
Alright I redid the ground not as bad while im driving still not where I'm in a comfort zone though gonna def have to do that Big 3, still saw a drop to 11.6 in idle though. Posted the pics of old/new ground over on MAF, not even gonna worry with it over here though. Thanks for the help though man

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do...
