over kill car ?

so what you saying is with the amount of space i have if i add 4 more inches to depth to the box and run 2 4 inch flared aero ports instead of a vented box i could run 2 10's then ?
actually you can just run a single 6 inch aero with less space. Its just how efficient flared aeros can be, you only need 9-13 square inches of port per cubic feet with flared aeros compared to 12-16 with slot ports and the thickness of the slot ports eat up a lot of airspace too. However its a lot easier to tune and modify with slot ports.

right , I tried that too, but the port noise will be high ...
and we don't want that we want as little as possible if not none.

my bad was going off of gotgixer's dimensions in an earlier post.

I highly doubt you'll have audible port noise if the aero is properly flared. Many people have had as low as 8 square inch per cubic feet without having any port chuffing and noise.

If you add 4 inches to the depth with 10 x 35.5 x 19, you'll have enough for two 10s and adequate port area. However mounting the sub will be a problem, anyway you can raise the height to 10.5 or 11 or 11.5?

i was aiming more for sub up port forward instead of sub and port forward. it's the only way i would be able to pull it off since that is what i had to do with the box i built for the sub i have now.

well if you increase the depth to 19, with upfire subs and rear fire port, you can definitely make 2 10s work slotted. Might even sound better that way since i just remembered your car's a hatchback.

All I know is, I have to get back up for work @ 4:30 am ... I worked 13hrs today and 13 hrs tomorrow ...

and that is why i built the box i have now with sub up so the sub would hit off the hatch. question i just went outside and i see i have 38 instead of 35 inches for left to right could i to replace adding depth and just add it to width and still make it fine.

alright man you take care and thanks for the help man good night.

Now like I said before, I have never studied the acoustics of your model car. And this box is got a pretty good bump (about 4db) around 40hz .....I do not know exactly how it will sound in your car ...

but it should bump pretty good ...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
