Point of oversized wire?

ooo ok gotcha, I misunderstood. I thought you were responding to "why don't they just label it 2/0" haha. Hence my confusion.
Why do you want them to label it 2/0 then they charge youmore asnd you pay for larger fuses. I'm not the best person to ask those questions too bc I dont keep up with asll manufacturers my response would be the little chinese kid making your cable forgets to change the size as he works in sweatshop. I apologiz3e if its american made. If you want to gety a chuckle I did this one time and got no where email or write the cable manufacturers and ask them why are they all over the place with the size. You can get the same data but correct from real electrical cable manufacturers. Thats where the little UL label comes into play.

the AVIC was a tad more complicated to wire not to mention stuffing it in a smallish stereo hole. thanks for advice.

Drill a hole and use the proper protective split loom and hole grommets to keep the outer speaker jacket from knicks and cuts, give just enough...
