Remote starter question

I have an old autostart #as1474 . I never installed it in any vehicle. Still new in the box. I was wondering if it was ok to install in my 2011 Jeep Wrangler? I know I need to get a transponder bypass moduale. But will this older remote starter work in my 2011 Jeep? Its about 10 years old, the remote starter.

I had someone tell me that my remote starter is analog and it needs to be digital. He said I needed to buy a new one. ?????? analog?????? Digital???? My jeep has no power locks/ windows ect. Just need it to start the vehicle. No other extras. Not sure what he means by analog and digital(in the electical meaning). Is it not all digital?

Thanbks for any help.

Usually when you shop for a replacement harness for your model, you will find the pictures may show you in what pins your wires go to.
