securing inner port walls?

you did a bad job glueing then. Screws offer virtually zero extra support when a box is properly glued
Have to respectfully disagree. Test it for yourself. Glue two pieces together at a 90 degree joint and put a strain gauge on it until the joint breaks. Then do the same test with glue and 1.5" screws at 5" intervals and see which scores higher.

For those of you who glue only how do you allow pieces that you can't reach with a clamp to dry? Make them do a balancing act with no pressure on them until they dry?

Depends on your glue too. I've had more problems with titebond than I have polyurethane construction adhesive. the titebond is a lot easier to use though because it's not as thick.

use screws for that bish, you can even pull them out and seal the holes up afterwards if you want

good question.. i've always wondered this myself... which is partially why I started to do aero ports....

there really is no way to clamp it... for the port piece you pretty much have to just glue it and screw it..... that specific piece isnt AS important to clamp like the rest... clamps arent going to apply much more pressure than the screws anyways since people say you arent supposed to tighten the clamps to much
