Hey, I really need a few minutes of somebody's time to ask a ton of questions about my system... I really don't want to get ripped off, because I know that's really easy do have happen when I don't know too much about what I'm getting.
Anyway, here's what I have right now:
'98 Eclipse
Sony Xplod MP40 HU
Performance Teknique 771 Amp
Rockford Fosgate 12" Sub
Stock Speakers (6 1/2's and 6x9's)
Now that that's out of the way, I come to my problem. My brother gave me another amp for the holidays (Performance Teknique 775, which I believe is a 500w), and now I want better speakers in my car (preferably Alpines, unless you suggest something that might sound better with my setup). The problem is... I have absolutely no knowledge of what kind of speakers I'll need to hook up to that amp, or if my HU can even support another amp. If it can't (and I'm guessing it can't), then what would be the best HU to get?
So, if I could take about ten minutes of somebody's time and experience to ask a bunch of questions about what I need, I'd really, really appreciate it (AIM screen name: Yanathin). Or, if you just want to reply to this post, that would help, too. AIM would be a bit better, though.

EDIT: Just read the manual for my MP40, and I noticed it has Audio Out Front / Rear (no seperate sub out). But wait a minute, I have an amp powering my sub right now, so how is that working?
