speaker adapters vs soldering

i use my own

i only solder the wierd sized ones and i use very expensive silver based solder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

you can get it at a hobby store for rc's trains ect...

If it's a newer car through a dealer, or if it's not paid off, use adapters. If they see that you've cut electrical lines, they'll throw a fit. Especially if you're interested in keep any sort of warranty.

And you know they probably use leaded in your amp. So...

A proper wire-wire solder joint is with a lot of direct copper-copper contact area. And anyways, havn't you heard of pretinned copper wire? That's not silver solder.

You can buy solder on speak on connectors so you can just attach regular speaker wire to them and power the speakers off the receivers built in amps however I would not push it very hard as the Pyles require a fair bit more power than your receiver can produce and will overload it if pushed hard.

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Speaker ratings are generally a thermal/mechanical limitation of the drivers. Music is dynamic, not continuous. During quiet periods a song, you...
