i myself love SQ but at the same time love SPL. i have an SQL setup which if you read what i run for subs might sound weird but they sound clean except one is partially blown so i gotta fix that. but i hit mid 140's consistently and love having some SQ with my SPL. so i'm honestly more SQL.

SPL ALL THE WAY!

for me, car audio is like a big physics problem. the more i learn and apply, the higher my score gets. SQ just isn't as much fun.

i like a mix of both SPL and SQ but am willing to give up SQ when i turn it up that last few notches to beat the dude in the car next to me but still have enough SQ to impress my girlfriend at lower volumes and not have her say, "yeah its loud, but it sounds like $h!t."

I myself am a big fan of SPL...but on the other hand, and leaning more and more towards SQ. It's gotta be loud, but its gonna sound good.

12-16 years old - 80% SPL / 20% SQ

17-20 yeas old - 70% SPL / 30% SQ

21-present(25) - 60% SPL / 40% SQ

To me caraudio is a big SPACE problem...the rest is simple (physics excluded)

Physics ****** for me 2. I hate it alot.

Steve, i guess i shoudl be like 30 cause I love SQ but its gotta bang. I need some SPL too cause I love clean hard hitting deep badd, the harder it hits me the better. On the other hand I wanna be able to ehar the drums loud and clear.

Oh would using the same brand of subs but differnt models being used on diff amps be good?

like 2 12" of a type A on amp 1

and 2 12" of type B on amp 2.

Could i run into problems?
