Here is what I installed:

MA - M500XE

Specs:

1000W 4 Channel High Performance Amplifier

4 x 125W RMS @ 4 Ohm Stereo

4 x 225W RMS @ 2 Ohm Stereo

2 x 500W RMS @ 4 Ohm Bridged

Kicker Comp VR 12's

Specs/wiring choices

Parallel wiring

Dual 2 ohm = 1 ohm load

Series wiring

Dual 2 ohm = 4 ohm load

I have it setup right now with the MA amp at 2 x 500W @ 4 ohm bridged and the Kickers setup in series.

The speakers do not get that loud with this setup. Is there another way that I could set this up to make it get louder? Or is this just a bad amp/speaker combo?

This is going into a dodge ram quad cab with 1 chamber and 1.8 cu feet of airspace.

Thanks,

Paul

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
