The new mag is xbl :D

Sorry about that. The basket will be all black and the motor is inside the basket, so you won't see that. Spider color hasn't been set in stone yet, but you won't see it if you invert it anyway.

I almost spit my juice out on the keyboard. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

will these be able to handle 1300watts? i'm debating whether or not to buy two and hook em up to my kx2500.1
The answer is, maybe, depending on who is controlling the volume... but the simple fact is they will never need that much power. The new Mag is designed with efficiency in mind so is using a shorter, lighter, voice coil with a more efficient motor topology. The design should still take 1300 watt dynamics in music, but I nor Nick would suggest that much power constantly as you will destroy the speaker.

But, if you really want to be dumping 1300 watts into a speaker all day long perhaps an SQ sub like the Mag isn't what you should be looking for.

Thanks for the quick response. I don't want to buy a new amp, so maybe I will buy the last gen mags, since they can take more abuse from what I understand

i believe youd have to purchase those used at this point.

I myself just with they were offered in a 10 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Wouldn't you rather have a woofer reaching almost around the same sound levels as its predecessor with less power? Why are people so hung up that they need to have a woofer that can take 1500 watts?

same //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif e30 boots ftl.

because the mindset is if it can't handle 1500wrms all day long its not a worthy woofer. The mags are no longer for the pure bassheads, I like how its more sq oriented.
