I posted in the sub forum about getting new subs but changed my plans. I have a diamond d3-12 powered by a JBL BP600.1. Right now its in a sealed box. Im selling my car and buying an SUV and decided to go ported. I listen to a little bit of everything and im not sure what frequency i should tune to. Im going to buy the plans from fishercustoms or use one of the free designs in the sticky. Can you guys give me any advise as to which box would be my best bet?
hey, if your gonna stay sealed I would tune amp to 80hz. I have the same amp but have not had the d3. diamond has a special ported box for there subs that works really well, at least that's what my stereo store said when they sold it. you should get ahold of your dealer and see if they can get you the specs.
Probably around 2 cubes at 33-34.
