Hi, I plan to buy one battery for my trunk (Kinetik HC800 (KHC800)) and I don't know where I have to put the fuse; between the front battery and the trunk battery or between the trunk battery and the distribution block??

Also, who many amp the fuse need to be ??

And is it a good idea to get a battery isolator??

can someone help me it's the only thing left to do in my instal ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I'd do an isolator, and fuse the front and the back..for the fuse rating...need to see what fuse rating your amps have and go from there.

isolator is good if u plan on playing music with ur car off. I would not risk that anyways but do as u do. I am fused right after alt, right before my first batt. But both of my batts are in the trunk so batts are right beside each other so no fuse between them. Also, fuse based on the wire not the amps..

ok thanks, but how to know if I have to chose between 200, 250, 80, 300 amp ??

and witch one of ANL or AGU fuses are the best
