wiring 2 quad 1 ohm woofers to 2 ohms

Series/parallel/series should get 2ohm.Series 2 coils to 2 ohm do the same for the other 2 coils(same sub) then repeat the same thing for the other sub.Now connect the 2 2ohm leads on the subs in parrellel to get 1 ohm(do the same for the other sub).Now connect the 2 subs together in series and you should get 2 ohms.

dont pay attention to the subs, just the voice coils.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all...
