i'm still wondering how you are getting 20k watts? looking at the list of equipment going in i still dont see where the number came from..

yeah man your proabably right. .im working on getting all of it covered under my parents homeowners insurance right now just incase of that since my auto insurer will only cover up to 5gs in additional equiptment.Hopefully my alarm will do me a little justice anyways,im gonna get the feature that calls/text/ emails you if its broken into so it will never be out of range.So i take it your not to fond of your stepson huh?

4-rdaudio 9.0s- they are gonna be doing about 6-6500 watts a piece at 1 ohm at 15.3 volts. .sorry i was just being conservative when i said 20k watts.oh and 4x85.4=1360 on the underrated side at like 14volts so they will prolly be doing 100x4 a piece with my voltage. .sorry i was being to conservative when i only said 20k watts

so i take it ur gonna be running 16v cuz any 12v battery isnt gonna charge to 15.3 volts. you can set the alt to charge at 15.5v but thats not good for the cars computer.

I think differently about this statement but no im not running 16 volt,although i may in the future.i have seet 15.3-15.5 at my amps and playing full tilt it went down to about 14.8-14.95.this was with the leads pushed into the + and - s of the amp.i know several people that have been running there 12volt systems at 15.9-16volts for 2 years now in a new hummer and another tahoe and no issues whatsoever,but thanks for your concern.You see how i came up with 20k watts now?

just get a train horn and have it hooked up to the alarm to instead of your regular horn the train horn goes off. Or you could just put a siren or two inside the vehicle so if it ever goes off you wont be able to stand being inside it to get anything out.

I had a train horn on my last truck and theres no way id ever have it hooked up to my alarm man,my alarm is real sensitive and everytime it chirped for a warning that would be like 5 short blast in the middle of the night from a train horn,i rely on my two way pager alarm,it tells me whats going on lol.
