On page 36 of the online manual there is a picture, picture #4, the “AV settings menu” & on the bottom right it says “off”. Not sure if that is the “off” you are looking for. This navigation radio seems really complex and it states in multiple areas that it will always turn on with the vehicle and disconnecting the battery or 12v power source will force it to loose all settings including navigation at all times.

I dont understand why things are becoming so complex these days. I still enjoy simplicity myself. LOL 😂 :poop:

yes complex is a understatement the operater manuel is 200pages then theres 2 other books installation 21 pages an quickie start book one page w/ a bunch of menues.

w/ all that it's still user friendly just alot to consume.

the off on page 36 is blackening the NAV screen say your far off from your destination you can leave it on just dim the screen, I think there's a setting where NAV will be running in the background (while playing a source) when approaching destination NAV will interupt the audio.TBH I haven't read much of manual I just use same as previuous HUs an try to remember the differnces.

initially I had the radio w/ just HU power 2 sets of componets then stepped up w/ a 1200watt 5ch. amp an small sub. I think she sounded better w/out the amp. I'll create a thread on that later I'm just hoping the radio isn't toast.thanks
