top 4000+ watt amps??

From the specs of these amps it seems that the rockford and sundown seem to be the top for daily beating so far?

What about the autotek4000.1, Mtx elite 3750., lanzar4000

I looked at a lot of different amps and I own a lot of high powered amps but for my final amp decision I choose the DD Z1a.....Not many amps in the 4000+ range are designed with the efficency to run off a basically stock electrical system....But the DD Z1a is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would hold off on running any dd amp daily for a while, after the disaster of the 3-4 different versions of z1's that they still couldnt figure out. thats just me tho

I was just playing my M3 hard a little while ago with no issues...at 1 ohm ....I'm upping it to a Z1a on two 9510G's in my Saleen...Hopefully in the next couple of weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

DD amps are great.

But I don't have the money for them.

besides the saz-3000d does 3200w @ 10.75 v with 1.33 ohms

Jacob posted this on the sundown forum @ .87 ohm

note: on 14.5 volts.

3294 watts @ 84% efficiency (252 amps draw)3938 watts @ 81% efficiency (316 amps draw)

4424 watts @ 74% efficiency (392 amps draw)

i would say the ZAPCO C2K4KW amp easily does 5kw at 1 ohm briged......

for the price I have abuncj of other amps I can think of I'd reather have.

atomic, american bass, cactus, sundown, IA, DD, ....the list goes on.

I have had zapco before. Good stuff. But not what I would look at in the way of great amps... the pricetag gets me.

memphis is not a good choice for daily because it has ZERO undervoltage protection. IE if your daily beating and your voltage drops ~10 volts your amp is dead
If you're running 4,000+ watts, you should have tha electrical to back it up though.. that's my opinion.
