What else BESIDES the HiFonics?

Here, I made an example: this file has three 0db waves i made, that sweep from 2000Hz to 15Hz in 10 seconds, with three seconds silence in between. The first is pure square waves, the digital equivalent to pure distortion... pure dirty power. The second is a triangular wave, again distortion of a different breed. The last is a pure sinewave, undistorted.

Take it or leave it, but the first two would be completly unaccceptable coming from an amplifier in my book.

Get an old SoundStream Reference, if you've got the alternator power. They are stable in .5 ohms and even 1/4 ohms...

Look into eBay and a seller with lots of feedback.

As for the amp question goes. I would look at a pair of 1000 watt amps that are strappable then put them at 2ohms on your woofers and watch the wang.
