Harsh huh? Where are your tweets at? What level are they set at? I would mess around with that first before getting another set. Focal K2Ps are awesome speakers. Not hard to tune at all.

Have you considered Zapco? Great SQ amps IMO.

Zapco amps are great for highs.

I'm giving mine 100 watts of very clean power and they sound awesome. I'm sure they could handle about 150 no prob just watch the gains. I'd power them with a good, clean SQ amp.

I love my K2p's. I think they're one of the best sets out there for the money. I've always been a big Focal fan for one simple reason, sound quality.

Yea I'm digging the amp install too. I've also dealt with some of the guys at Gold Star they're are top notch.
