dammit thats what i figured. just trying to fix my brothers amp he fried awhile back from what i can see he fried about 8 to 10 of the transistors and thats just what i can see who knows what else is actually wrong with it.

does anyone know if it is possible to get a schematic for this amp? and if so where and how?

the sad thing is a have one....every one in i million times i'd take my keys out of my pocket at nights i'd bump a button on it. well this was one of those one in a million times and i just had to hit the unlock button . now every night before i go to bed i take my keys out walk to the window...

thanks but i ended up getting lucky and getting one off ebay for only 40 bucks!!

like i said it was just a quick shity job. they didnt even look in the trunk. plus my neighbor said his alarm started going off and when he went out they were already gone so they were cut short on time

alright great! so do i just get in contact with pioneer to order a new one?

so my car got broken into a few nights back.....i got lucky they didn't get anything in the truck but they did get a few things. my radar detector, idop, remote for deck, and just the face plate from my deck. so i'm wondering if you can buy just face plates for decks? it's a pioneer only...

it seems like a good idea and for one good price but i just don't think it'll work. there's to much other things to come into play when working in a shop. first off you need to know what you're doing and who's going to insure a shop like this and cover it for something you have no control...

thats the thing is it's not noise threw his rca. his sub sounds fine it's only his speakers and his speakers are not being run off an amp just his deck. i told him to ground his deck again and let me know what happens.

alright well i told him to try and ground the deck and see if that fixes it and also to make sure it's coming from all his speakers not just one.

anyone?
