    Southeast Region Orlando, FL Recommendations?

I do have power/ground. I'd rather use something that I know is proper true gauge and OFC than have them use some cheap amp kit with CCA. And good idea, I will ask if it's cheaper if I supply my own speaker wire! Thanks.

    Southeast Region Orlando, FL Recommendations?

I just got quoted $600 from another place and the told me that most of the money is for running the new speaker wire, so I'm guessing most places would be around the same?

    Southeast Region Orlando, FL Recommendations?

Hi all, I have a 2014 Ford Fusion SE that I'm looking to do an install on. I'm in Orlando, FL and am looking around to find a good shop with a reasonable price. I have all the equipment already taken from my previous car, which I've installed myself but because this car is newer and I'll be...

    Relay 12V Constant

Hello everyone, I'm going to have to wire in a relay to my car audio setup as I currently have my REM wire going to two amps, but now I'm going to be adding in some extra accessories like some fans for an amp rack that I'm building, and I want those to all kick on/off with my amp/radio etc. My...

    Gain With DMM Clarification

What's the phase angle issue? I'm not sure I know what that is. Is that referring to the 0º / 180º phase of the subwoofers? And yes a 0db 50Hz sine wave playing on my head unit at 48/62. From what I've researched my head unit (Pioneer DEH-x6700BT) starts clipping at 51/62. I usually listen at a...

    Gain With DMM Clarification

I just want to make sure I'm doing this properly. I'm using a Kicker CX1200.1 for my bass amp at the moment which mine's claimed RMS output is 1276W @ 2 ohms. (as per the certificate they include in the box) I'm connecting a pair of Pioneer TS-W304Rs which are SVC 4 ohm subs rated at 300W RMS...

    What Fuse To Use?

That amp says 600W RMS @ 1 Ohm. My subs are 4 Ohm each SVC so the amp will see a 2 Ohm load when both are connected. That amp at 2 Ohms is only 300W RMS. Are Hifonics amps any good? I was looking at the Hifonics ZRX1816. I want something a little more powerful than exactly what the subs are...

    What Fuse To Use?

The Pioneer is $170 on Amazon right now so around $200-250 maximum.

    What Fuse To Use?

Its a KnuKonceptz true 4 AWG 100% OFC power wire. I just replaced my original DB Link CCA 4 AWG with this and its definitely thicker and heavier.

    What Fuse To Use?

Well I haven't actually bought the amp yet, I'm ordering today so what amp would you recommend that will push those subs to their full potential in a sealed box and have a little headroom for future upgrades?

    What Fuse To Use?

Running a sealed box for the time being. I want to get a really good custom ported one made but I don't have the time or money right now so I just stuck them in a decent sealed one. Do you have any recommendation on the fuse? Is 120 amp enough or should I get one of the 150s? EDIT: Alright thanks!

    What Fuse To Use?

2x Pioneer TS-W304R 12". They're rated for 300 RMS each. Maybe they could take 400 if clean but I don't know.

    What Fuse To Use?

Hi, I'm doing an upgrade to my system and I'll be running two amps: 1) Mids/Highs: Pioneer GM-D8604 - It will be doing about 300-350W RMS of output. 2) Bass: Pioneer GM-D9601 - Around 600W RMS of output. (I know this amp goes way higher but I'll be matching to my subs) I already have a 120...
