As I said, I don't think it's the best option. I do agree, it isn't as safe of a choice. I don't even have batteries in my cabin, I have one under the hood and 2 in the tool box. If i can avoid having a battery inside my car, then I will.
The thing that bugs me is that all your answers come from a google search. I compete and know people who have unsealed batteries in their car. I do not know of anyone that has lost their car due to unsealed batteries. All of the cars that I know of that have caught on fire were due to wiring issues, such as shorting of their batteries.

So if you agree with me, then why are you arguing? So since I use google, I must not know anything? Have you ever read anything on the interwebz that you did believe? I bet I can find that info via google as well. for fucks sake, it is not like I used the Enquirer as a source or something. Hell you don't even deny I am wrong.
