Crescendo PWX 6.5 or SB acustics?

While asking for recommendations for a friend the Crescendo PWX 6.5 came up. I was wanting to replace the silver flutes in my door and was going to go with a pair of the SB acoustic SB17NRXC35-4 but those crescendos look nice also. So what are the characteristics of the two woofers? which one is better for mid bass, SQ, ect.? Which would be more of a vertical upgrade from the silver flutes?

I would run either the PWX or SB acoustics active with a ppi 900.4 amp and SEAS Prestige 27TAFNC/G tweeters

Its a budget driver and it doesnt get loud enough to keep up with real bass systems. Its mainly budget sq

Im not too impressed with sb acoustics, i got one of their neo tweets, they were a grade under my massive tweets in terms of sound quality and costed over 50 a driver. The massive tweets have better efficiency as well
