New To Audio (Speakers Making Noise)

When I turn up the head unit and no music is playing I hear this noise coming from my speakers. It's kinda like a shhhhhhhhhh. Now I don't know if that is usual because I would think it is the power just going through the speakers. Can someone explain?

sounds like a ground loop problem there is a sticky on it in this section does it change tone with engine rpm?

no, that's background hiss. it's common to inexpensive head units, processors, and amplifiers.

a proper gain structure lets you reduce it. proper equipment lets you eliminate it.
