Honestly, I'm not sure how the 700BT works. I do not believe the 700BT is motorized. If this is the case, they are not the same. The 800PRS has a motorized faceplate. There is a setting in the system menu for the 800PRS that automatically lowers the faceplate when there is no more 12V signal on the ignition wire. This gives you access to the release button to remove the faceplate. To replace the faceplate, just put it on. Neither side goes first. All that needs to be done is for you to line it up and press. There's nothing special to it. I believe that's really all you have to do with any of the Pioneer units to put the face back on.So is it accurate that both the 800PRS and the 700BT faces install/dismount the same?
No problem.Ahh, I see now...I had the 700BT for a few days and it did not have a motorized faceplate. So they are different.
Thanks
