Im going to put a system in a 96 accord 4dr this weekend and i have a couple of questions. How do i take the stock deck out to put in a new headunit?

And i want to run the power wire down the by the door jams, do those plastic panels just pry off (as if they were clipped on) or are their other ways to remove them?

buy a wiring harness for your car/model..it will allow you to connect your stock wiring to your new deck. its like 10 bucks at walmart.

Yes..those panels simply pry off. Make sure you disconnect the negative battery terminal while your doing any kind of wiring.

Gluck!

use this with the hu install, everything you need to know. i used it with my civic turns out great. make sure you have the aftermarket wiring harness and the install kit

Dont know about the removal of the stock one because mine had an aftermarket one in already.

However, for the power wire routing if you look directly underneath the stock underhood fuse panel you will see a rubber gromet that you can run the wire through.

The door sills simply pop right off. Stick your fingers between the plastic and metal and ply upwards untill they pop off.
