Don't know what to tell you. They move like hell with zero distortion. Dig well below box tuning and get loud. I'm a bit of a nuthugger but they are not even close to my first big sub.

On this early rough prototype BL^2/RE came out at over 500 on our first mock up -- when I measured the IA Warden v.1 and DD Z 3" coil those were 305-328 range.

I have the gaskets for the subs but I never use them because the screws never fit through them and it ***** peeling the gasket back for every screw so I just leave them off.

And I wanna go from 270" port to like 300-320 but it's to **** cold to do all that

So got some more play time on these Sundowns and they play down into the 20s but they get stinky very very fast 29hz and under, like play 30 seconds on a song and smell coil bad, but I can play 30hz songs and up full tilt no stink.. Kinda weird cuz my crossfires could play down into the teens without gettin stinky. I guess these 600 watt woofer can't handle the lows like the big crossfires 4" monsters

So you have 2400W of rated handling and you're surprised they get stinky on an 8k? Or do you have two in there now?

I would definitely seal that off before changing the port.

It's just on 1 8k at 1ohm. After rise I ain't getting no where close to 8k... And I'm not gunna seal it off because I'm gunna rebuild this summer. Just gotta decide what I'm gunna do. 6 zv4 15s at cpillar on 2 8ks maybe. Idk maybe just get some more crossfire xs v2... I loved those subs.

I sold the crossfires ad gunna save up money for some new big subs. But while I'm saving I'm need some bump so I got some SA 18s... I just got some more play time on them and there getting louder. I'm gunna have to go meter one of these days
